Exit or restake your STX

At the end of a Stacking cycle, you can either withdraw your STX or restake it for another round. Leather shows you the upcoming cycle timing and provider-specific settings for pooled and liquid Stacking. This guide explains how to manage your next steps and use the UI to revoke delegation or redeem liquid tokens based on your preferences.

Managing your position after Stacking is complete is just as simple as starting.

Pooled Stacking:

  • Your STX is typically restaked by default. If you want to stop, visit the Stacking page, select your position and select the option to revoke delegation.
  • Note the “Next rewards” indicator in the position interface. Leather shows countdowns to help you time your actions.

Liquid Stacking:

  • Open your wallet in the Leather extension and select “Swap”.
  • Choose your liquid Stacking token and STX as pairs, review and submit to convert your liquid token back to STX and exit your position.
  • Be sure to read the irreversible action notice before confirming. Everything from contract addresses to redemption warnings is displayed in the UI. Leather gives you visibility—but you decide when to opt out or stay earning.
